Your activated business number brings call activity and texts into one feed. Both paid plans include a business number and monthly texting allowance: $10 on Ledger Solo and $25 on Ledger Pro. Usage depends on message length, destination and carrier charges; optional $25 top-ups are available.
Switch on missed-call text-back and choose your reply. Eligible calls can trigger that message automatically, subject to your settings, available allowance and carrier delivery. You can review activity in the Phone feed.
Calls with usable caller details can be saved as contacts and leads. Review the lead feed for callbacks, including callers who cannot receive a text.
Two reply templates, your words — one for during the day, one for nights and weekends. Set your time zone and open days so enabled text-back uses the appropriate saved template.
Listen to available voicemails in the feed. Enable Call Intelligence on a supported plan for written transcripts; review the recording when accuracy matters.
You may be able to forward missed calls from an existing line after your Ledger number is activated. Forwarding support and setup depend on your carrier; confirm their instructions first.
Request a number from the app and complete the required business and carrier setup. Once activation is confirmed, you can add it to your website, Google profile and invoices.
Ledger drafts a greeting script in your business's voice, ready to read straight into your carrier's recorder — no staring at a blank page trying to sound professional on the fifth take.
A customer calls your business number. You're mid-job, hands full, phone across the shop — it rings out.
With text-back enabled, an eligible missed call can trigger your business-hours or after-hours template. Set an honest expectation for when you can respond.
Available caller details appear in the lead feed, where you can review the record and choose the next action.
Review any voicemail or available transcript, then return the call or send a message yourself.
After your Ledger number is active, ask your existing carrier about forwarding missed calls, or use the new number directly. Availability, fees and activation timing depend on the carrier.
